During the
mid-1970's, this classic book astounded the world with its
fascinating facts behind psychic research in official
laboratories from Prague to Moscow. Now it is time to
re-visit this classic book which has been updated.
In Psychic Discoveries, authors Sheila Ostrander
and Lynn Schroeder present astounding facts behind
psychic research in official laboratories from Prague to
Moscow. This book is an update to the 1970's version by
the name of Psychic Discoveries Behind the Iron Curtain
and was published during the height of the Cold War.
Ostrander
is a graduate of the University of Manitoba, Canada and
has also studied in Europe. She is published for books of
nonfiction and United States, and has had articles
published and many magazines. Schroeder, a native of New
Jersey, graduated from Skidmore College and studied in
New York's New School for Social Research. She has
written on many subjects including a book on the United
States Supreme Court.
All the
items discussed in his book are in every way not only
susceptible to truly scientific contemplation, but also
to technological investigation. Doubtless our government
scientists and technologists have been aware of this for
a long time, but the public is not generally aware of it.
According
to the authors, whether the government is under
instructions not to pursue psychic research, or simply
lack the awareness to pursue it, the end result is mass
stupidity. The authors say this is as bad as when
dictionaries label all these things as psychic.

Psychic Discoveries
The authors
discuss the following topics in the book, such as, mind
over matter, inner and outer space, UFOs and PSI, what
makes you psychic, astrology or cosmic biology, ESP,
artificial reincarnation, time, eyeless sight, dowsing,
the energy body, auras, Kirlian photography, cybernetics,
acupuncture, telepathy, folk healers, pyramid power and
razor blades, and teaching the blind to see.
Given
what we have learned about the powers of aliens, none of
this seems so strange any more. Now is the time to go
back and read this classic book from a new viewpoint.
What seemed so strange in the 1970s has become routine
for alien abductees to observe or experience today. We
need to take a look at what the Russians were researching
back then. We need to recognize the things we once called
psyche are routine abilities for the aliens. We need to
consider these things as our potential to learn.
When this
book was first published, it created quite a stir. This book comes highly recommended.
