A red and white triangular UFO was spotted on Cooper Road in Southern Rowan County in North Carolina at 6:35 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2000. The UFO was spotted by a woman who wants to remain anonymous and her children.
According to the woman, "It was clear and about 6:35 p.m. or so, because I was taking Chris to work. It looked like a triangle. At least that was the impression it gave me. I guess if you want to judge size in relation to my arm, it was as long as from the tips of my fingers to my elbow. I know it was bigger than that but from the sky it would have been about that size.
Son Chris stated, "Well, I just saw what looked like a triangular object. It was just sitting still in the air, then it just flew over the car."
Younger brother Alex stated, "I saw a triangle type thing in the sky, but it was made up of 3 balls connecting it. It was just floating, not moving at all. Then it started to move to the left and it just stopped again. It moved back to the right about 4 inches away from our car (still in the sky) then turned a bright red and disappeared. That is all I can remember, but I did feel kind of scared. The part that kind of freaked me out is that in all the books I read about UFO events, it says something about the car radio messing up and the car turning off for no reason when a ufo is around. That did not happen, The whole time me and Chris were looking looking for it, we could not find it. The triangle looked like 3 balls with a thin line connecting to the other ball."
