Is there a connection
between Fibromyalgia and the health symptoms reported by
abductees?

I deal with a lot of
candida/fibromyalgia in my work as a massage therapist, and I
began noticing how many abductee books described candida
symptoms. My husband said one day, "Donna, you can't blame
EVERYTHING on candida," so I wrote a SF story in which I
did, history and UFOs, the works. Most notably, Whitley Strieber
was told repeatedly to stop eating candy bars. Sounds like the
aliens wanted to help fix or prevent candida.
One symptom not mentioned in the literature on candida are: a
sense of impending doom, the feeling that one is dying or
something is really wrong, the feeling that something bad is
about to happen. I can see you might theorize that the whole
problem stems from a deep terror of something happening in deep
sleep, so the person can never sleep deeply or relax.
But there is a major complication here, and that is the
involvement of airborne molds. Getting in a moldy place can bring
on many mental and physical symptoms of candida. Try it yourself,
go in a moldy basement or dig in a moldy leaf pile, or even open
a moldy jar of fruit or jam and sniff. Instant aches.

Ask around, are the "abductions" worse in the autumn or
when mold spore counts are high? Ask people to keep a diary of
weather vs. abductions. Look for a correlation between damp
weather, cloudy weather, and abduction experiences. Not all molds
do it. The worst are those that break down leaves, wood, straw
and fruit. The major time of night is the "liver" time
in Chinese medicine. It is also a time when molds settle near the
ground.
When I was really bad one terrible moldy autumn, I was told my
symptoms came from "spleen oppressing liver". In
Chinese medicine, the spleen has to do with dampness and damp
weather. In western terms, it is part of the immune system. Add
the two: spleen deals with molds. I'm not saying mold causes
alien abductions, or that they don't happen at all.
I'm saying that mold alters brain function. When someone wants to
enter an altered state, they try to alter brain function. Drugs
or alcohol will do this, or certain practices (e.g.
hyperventilation). I refer to molds as psychoactive. If I get
real bad, I call the local mental health hot line the next day to
see if they had a lot of calls. Many times their phone rang off
the wall while I was feeling weird.
Oh, incidentally, you can stop an allergic reaction by
alkalinizing the bloodstream. When you are feeling weird, or have
a sudden attack of weakness or achiness or your brain shuts down,
take 1/2 teaspoon baking soda in water. Works in 5 minutes.
Better yet, take 2 drops citricidal or citrus seed extract in
water (tastes awful) . Works in 90 seconds. Or chew citrus peel.
