I live in rural Northern Ireland. It was Saturday, the 4th of April 1998. It was about 3:30 a.m. I went to bed. The only thing I remember is them bringing me back. I was in the kitchen. I was going to get a drink of water. There were no cups. The grey must have been beside me all the time. All that time I was half sleepy, unsure of what was around me.

I went to the living room to go to bed. That's were I sleep. I put my hand on the wall to put the light on. The light would not work. I looked up at the light and then moved my eyes down. That's when I saw them. I started shouting for help over and over again. I ran as fast as I could only I was unable to stop to open the door. I ran straight into the wall and fell back on the floor. My head was all pins and so I looked up and saw his face. The sight of it just terrified me. I was never so scared in all my life. His eyes were so big and black. I just kept shouting for someone to help me but no one could hear me. I heard the alien talk to another one. I could not understand his words.

They were strange. I would say they were 5 feet tall with very long arms with three fingers. Their skin was grey/brown. After that I woke up still shouting for help. It was 6 a.m. but I did not wake up on the floor, it was on the sofa. But I remember the feeling of the the carpet on my face, then I knew that it could not have been a dream. I don't really remember being taken, but I do remember being brought back. I came in from the back door. It was real. I am 100 % sure that it was real.

I am 20 years old. I have been suspicious of them for 4 - 5 years but I think it was even longer. My first similar memory was of being paralyzed but unable to move or talk and I found it hard to breathe, but I am not sure. There is a scar on my left foot 3/4 inch long that I do not remember before and a sore shoulder but I can not be sure of any of this because of what happened.

Your experience was certainly terrifying. You have noticed a couple of details that often show up during abductions. You noticed the light switch did not work. Other people have reported electrical lights or appliances suddenly not working. You also kept shouting and believed no one could hear you. Other people have experienced this oddity and later learned their screams had somehow been silenced by the aliens. The new scar on your left foot could be the result of your abduction as would be the sore shoulder. Since this event has sensitized you to the presence of aliens, you may find yourself noticing more unusual things happening around you. Keep a positive mental attitude.
