Interesting question. There is a generally accepted belief among abductees that aliens walk among us. In our Book Review: The Threat, author Dr. David Jacobs references abductees from his case files who have experienced limited earth-time contact with aliens. Aliens' time on earth is apparently limited by their inability to survive in our atmosphere for extended periods. Clearly, an inability to remain in earth's atmosphere could preclude the aliens' ability to build an earth-based company and run it.
