Date 97-7-27: A couple of months ago, I started to wonder about abductions and time travel. I reasoned: if some ETs have time travel abilities (and I do think it is probable, because manipulating time-space seems to be the only practical way to traverse great distances), then it seems reasonable to assume the possibility that one could be abducted at 12:01 AM, have his/her memory wiped or screened, then brought back at, or a minute or two after the time the abduction initially took place. This would virtually eliminate missing time as an abduction marker. When I was visiting Gulf Breeze in June, I learned this in fact has been reported. One individual was actually taken after midnight and brought back sometime right after 10:30 that same evening! Now, wouldn't that be confusing? (As if being abducted wasn't disorienting enough!) |
Further, Linda Cortile reported [See Book Reviews: Witnessed by Budd Hopkins] she never received scoop marks of any kind on her body as a result of the "examination" process. She distinctly remembered, however, surface skin "scrapings" leaving a rash-like spot which disappeared in a day or so. In light of these new considerations, how can any of us be 100% sure that we have not been abducted? A colleague and friend of mine remarked, "I believe we've all been abducted!"
